Recent Occidental El Embajador Sarasota Review: "This is a beautiful hotel. Yes, the rooms could use a little updating, but everything was impeccably maintained and very nice (and I'm really picky). We left the maid a nice tip because she did a fantastic job. They gave us a beautiful room facing the pool and the ocean beyond, with a nice balcony. For $30 extra, we upgraded to club level, which is well worth it. You may have continental breakfast at the club level, or you can go to the downstairs restaurant for an incredible buffet (this is included with the $30 extra). Impeccable service. The club level also offers a lunch and dinner service, but we did not try those. It is a beautiful lounge, beautiful pool, beautiful grounds. I will definitely stay here again!"
